Ingeteam asked HiRef to provide air conditioning of the inverters contained in 39 containers, part of a large photovoltaic plant in Jordan. The brief was to make the air conditioners work even in critical climatic situations.

The solution?
4 HTX0170 units (156 in total) were mounted on each container, using R134a refrigerant gas, capable of starting the air conditioners even with very high internal and external temperatures (60°C). Additionally, all the units were suitably treated to protect them from sand and corrosive agents typical of the installation site.

And how to control the units remotely without having to travel to the desert?
All the installed air conditioners have an internal microprocessor that allows for remote monitoring without the customer having to be on-site.
